André Custodio Seeing Slug at The Chameleon in SF many moons ago on a whim changed me. Real bangers. Real music.
Otis Nugatory

Otis Nugatory Skull-crushing but graceful drumming, two mile-wide basses, skretchy guitar and a caterwauling Shakespeare on the mic. What's not to love about SLUG? Recommended to fans of Swans, Godflesh, Unsane, Big Black. Turn the volume to 11 and let em make sweet love to yr pineal glands.

Hey Sluggos, put some live album/s or t-shirts up for sale, cos "Swingers" saved my fucking life in the 1990's and y'all deserve more of my $! Much love, John Kistner, Tacoma, WA

Someday your prince will come, someday I'm sorry it's not me and it's not today. Don't take my hand, 'cause I can't take your heart away. I'm sorry, not today. I will always love you forever, Just close your eyes and I will kiss you. Happily ever after. From now until the end of time. Or so we say. I will always love you forever, Just close your eyes and I will kiss you. Happily ever after. From now until the end of time. They're only words.

I've been in this business for 35 years And this one was probably made right here You know I stopped listening, it all sounds the same My life is going down in flames I've been in this business for 35 years, And this one was probably made right here. The labels are different, the needle's the same My life is going down in flames - My life!

They said it, wrote it down and I read it, But don't give the human race too much credit. A pyramid structure and ancient rules, A modern machine with primitive tools. Respect is due and it's lent her, A paid admission but she cannot enter. And you thought you weren't part of this plan. Well think again. As we rationalize and compromise ourselves In order to victimize. Convinced, confused, confined and cut up Behavior and slave to your sit down and shut up. When'll we learn to burn an effigy, A paper parody of our humanity, Feed that fire with greed and jealousy Ask myself, ask yourself: What's stopping me? We've been drugged and thugged and wined and dined, Stupid and happy and standing in line, To hear a seductive barrage that depends on a selfish, destructive collage. Gone is the longing for figuring why, You'd better believe restrictions apply. And you thought you weren't part of this plan. Well think again. Metamorphosize and criticize ourselves In order to realize. Rinsed, refused, revised and cut up, Behavior a savior to sit down and shut up. When'll we learn to burn an effigy, A paper parody of our humanity, Feed that fire with greed and jealousy Ask myself, ask yourself: What's stopping me?

Go tell it on the anthill through the tunnels and everywhere Go tell it on the anthill, that I tried to hurt myself, that I tried to kill myself. And this blood is mine. Go tell it make it known, and I'll feed on every word, Spill it like a vat of ether, feel the thrill of snapping sinew And the rush of breaking bones. When I was a preacher, I looked both night and day I asked the Lord to help me, 'cause I forgot how to pray. Go crush it on the anthill through the tunnels and sliding downwards Go tell it to the Christians, that I tried to hurt you all, but I was the first to fall. And this blood is mine.

Beautiful Marilyn, young and thin, Someday your beauty will come again. A thing of wonder, skin to envy, Won't you trade your scars for mine? It's just how well, we all conceal our dysfunction And failure to withstand the passing of time. What an old, horrible skull What an old, horrible skull! Tangled by webs, painful threads, Time unfolding now before me. Wrapped in finery's decoration Searching for endless admiration Living outside ourselves we are, Helpless and melting in dissolution. We are born alone, and we die alone. What an old, horrible skull, What an old, horrible skull, What an old, horrible skull! What an old, horrible skull! Something happened to Marilyn, I don't know what and I don't know when. But time stands still for no one, Remembers nothing and forgives no one. We close our eyes, shut our mouths, Lose ourselves -- dissolve. Uncaring and cold and slowly frozen By feelings that scald. What an old, horrible skull, What an old, horrible skull! Horrible skin, horrible bones Horrible, horrible, horrible skull!

about

Stopping me. What’s myself ask yourself. ask jealousy and greed? With fire that feed humanity of our parody. Paper an effigy, a burn to learn, we will shut up and down. Sit to saviour a behaviour-cut up and revised, refused, rinsed; realize to order in ourselves! Criticize and metamorphosize again. Think well, plan this part of: “Weren’t you thought you and apply restrictions? Believe you’d better…” Why figuring for longing the gone? Is collage seductive, selfish? Depends on that barrage. Hear to a line-in standing and happy and stupid, dined and wined and thugged (and drugged.) We’ve been stopping me! “What’s yourself?” ask myself, ask jealousy and greed with fire. Feed that humanity of our parody paper. An effigy: a burn to learn. We will shut. Up and down you’re sit to slave. A behaviour cut up and confined—confused, convinced… Victimize to order in ourselves, compromise and rationalize as we again think we’ll plan this part of not, you think. If you enter cannot she, but admission paid her lent, and has due respect. Is tools primitive machine modern rules ancient structure pyramid credit much to race the human? Don’t give but I read it, and “down it wrote it,” said they.
